LPN – Medical-Surg

Schedule: Shift Schedule: Day Shift | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts). Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week guaranteed. Weekend Requirements: As needed per facility schedule. On-Call Requirements: None. Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contract assignment in Lawton, OK .

The LPN will develop, implement, and coordinate direct nursing care for Medical-Surgical patients across all age demographics (infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to maintain high standards of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities

& Clinical Scope: Direct Patient Care & Assessment: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med-Surg patients; perform patient assessments, contribute to nursing diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans. Age-Specific Care Delivery: Adapt nursing interventions and patient care systems to meet the unique physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Provide clinical leadership and work cooperatively with ancillary healthcare staff, registered nurses, and providers to optimize patient outcomes. Quality & Clinical Standards: Adhere to established professional nursing standards, safety protocols, and facility policies within the clinical setting.

Qualifications

& Submission Requirements: Experience & Clinical Competency: Minimum 2 years of dedicated LPN Medical-Surgical (MS) experience [REQUIRED] . Licensure & Certifications: Active Oklahoma LPN License or active Compact/NLC Multistate LPN License in-hand at time of submission [REQUIRED] . Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [REQUIRED] .
