MY | Test manager in cards

Job Description Role Overview The Test Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end testing governance of card payment systems, ensuring quality, compliance, and reliability. The role involves managing test cases/strategy/ test teams, environments, and coordination with technology partners. Core Responsibilities Test Strategy & Governance Define and own the overall test cases/ plan / strategy for card platforms and payment initiatives.

Follow the Established test standards, processes, and best practices aligned with SDLC / Agile . Ensure regulatory, scheme, and compliance coverage in all test cycles. Manage entry/exit criteria, defect leakage, and quality metrics. Domain Testing Knowledge Oversee testing for: Issuing & acquiring systems. Authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.

Transaction lifecycle (POS, e‑commerce, ATM, contactless, wallet). Validate end‑to‑end card transaction flows across internal systems and external networks. Scheme & Compliance Testing Knowledge on compliance testing with: Visa /Mastercard / AMEX / Union. Pay / JCB Regulatory requirements knowledge. Test Execution Management Lead system, integration, regression, and production validation testing Oversee defect management, root cause analysis, and quality reporting Coordinate data setup, test cycles, and environment readiness Environment & Vendor Management Manage test environments Handle scheme simulators, and test tools Automation & Tooling Drive test automation for card systems.

Evaluate and implement testing tools for: Transaction simulation Regression automation Performance and resilience testing Stakeholder Management Partner with: Compliance & Risk teams Technology & Architecture teams Provide transparent reporting on quality, risks, and readiness
