Harvey Vogel Manufacturing is a leading metal stamping and fabrication company serving customers across a variety of industries. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on stamping, fabrication, and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair production equipment, including:
• Punch presses and related peripheral equipment
• Press brakes, back gauges, and light curtains
• Shears
• PEM insertion machines
• Machining centers
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, controls, wiring, and components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Assist with equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Maintain facility systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve equipment failures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Work safely while following all company and OSHA safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and machine operations.
• Working knowledge of welding, plumbing, and general facility maintenance is preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, power supplies, and industrial controls is a plus.
• Vocational or technical training in maintenance, electrical, electronics, or related trades preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
