At Well-Spring, A Life Plan Community, we believe exceptional resident care starts with a supported, dedicated nursing team. We're looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated RN Nurse Manager to join our Healthcare leadership team! In this role, you'll work closely with our Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations, mentor nursing staff, and ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care.

What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership & Resident Care Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure quality, resident-centered care. Conduct routine rounds throughout the Healthcare units and review daily nursing reports. Monitor resident conditions and coordinate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Assist with resident assessments, care planning, admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Provide hands-on clinical support, including medication administration and treatments, as needed. Respond to medical emergencies and ensure appropriate interventions are provided. Team Leadership & Development Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff in their daily responsibilities. Help create a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment.

Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and evaluating nursing team members. Provide guidance, education, and performance feedback to support staff development. Partner with the Director of Nursing to address staffing needs, performance concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Quality & Compliance Ensure nursing practices meet federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.

Promote infection prevention, resident safety, and facility policies and procedures. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with quality improvement initiatives. Identify and address resident care concerns, safety hazards, and opportunities to improve operations. Participate in leadership meetings, care conferences, and nursing management on-call rotation.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current, active RN license in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and support a nursing team. Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality resident care.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years of nursing supervisory or leadership experience. Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, senior living, or a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).
