Facilities and Supplies Specialist

Description Life. South Community Blood Centers is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Facilities & Maintenance Specialist in Baldwin, AL . What You'll Be Responsible For Help keep our facilities, grounds, vehicles, and equipment clean, safe, and ready for daily operations while managing the supplies needed to support blood drives and other activities.

What You'll Do

Inspect and clean facilities and grounds daily, use floor care equipment safely, and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and disposal of biohazard materials Check building systems and equipment on schedule, report issues, and recommend repairs or maintenance to your supervisor Inspect, clean, and maintain company vehicles and keep vehicle logs accurate and up to date Coordinate vendor, cleaning, and landscaping services, verify completed work, and check billing for accuracy Order, receive, issue, and expense supplies, complete weekly or monthly inventory counts, and prepare supplies for blood drives and events Respond to security alarms and facility emergencies as needed, prioritize daily work, and complete assigned projects in coordination with the facilities team What You’ll Need High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation required; must meet and maintain Life.

This is a full-time position.

Starting salary range is $15.50 - $17.05 an hour. Criminal background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
