Sanitation Technician

Performs skilled and semi-skilled work related to the City’s sanitation program through pressure washing assigned areas. This is accomplished through proper monitoring of assigned staff, efficient scheduling, ensuring conformance of City standards, acquisition supplies, and repair and maintenance of equipment in order to accomplish assigned tasks and provide required services.

This work requires physical endurance and strength and is conducted in all types of weather.  Contact with fellow employees and the public requires courtesy and tact. Work is performed under the general direction and supervision of the Solid Waste Manager, but independent judgment in the completion of assigned tasks.
