About the Role
SJCH is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive, whole person care to patients. In this role, you’ll advance our mission of health equity by delivering high quality, community based primary care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. You’ll work alongside medical, dental, and behavioral health professionals to deliver integrated services that make a real difference in patients’ lives every day.
What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan Conduct physical exams; order, interpret, and manage diagnostic testing Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, whole person care Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices Document patient care accurately and timely in the EHR system Support SJCH’s mission through clinical service, outreach, and community engagement Schedule: Full‑time, 5‑day workweek Includes two Saturdays per month as part of the regular schedule When a Saturday is worked, a weekday off is provided during the same week One evening clinic per week, scheduled from 11:00 a.
m. to 7:30 p.m. What You’ll Bring For Nurse Practitioners (PNP): Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Completion of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program National board certification (AANP or ANCC) Active, unrestricted California NP license NP Furnishing Number (or eligibility) For All Candidates: Active DEA registration and BLS certification Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Strong commitment to health equity, cultural humility, and caring for diverse communities Compensation & Benefits SJCH offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well‑being.
Compensation
