Vehicle Technician Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 +bonus (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About our client They are a busy and growing accident repair centre committed to delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and exceptional customer service. They are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking to develop their career within a modern and fast-paced bodyshop environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently and returned to pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of makes and models. Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment. Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements. Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts required Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times. Support workshop productivity and efficiency targets.

Current MOT Tester Licence preferred. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities. Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs.

Good understanding of modern vehicle systems and technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail. Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable Qualifications NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent Motor Vehicle qualification. Manufacturer accreditation or franchise experience. Electric and Hybrid Vehicle qualification.

ADAS awareness or calibration experience.
