Starbucks Barista - US House of Representatives

At the House of Representatives, a Starbucks Barista creates the Starbucks Experience for customers by providing legendary customer service, serving high-quality beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment . Core Responsibilities: Customer Service : Welcomes customers, takes orders, and builds positive relationships.

Beverage Preparation : Prepares handcrafted espresso drinks, teas, and blended beverages to standard. Food Handling : Warms and serves pastries, sandwiches, and other food items. Cashier Duties : Operates the POS system, handles cash, and processes digital payments. Store Cleanliness : Washes dishes, sanitizes counters, sweeps floors, and mops floors, and takes out trash.

Inventory Stocking : Restocks pastry cases, coffee beans, cups, and condiments throughout the shift. Teamwork : Communicates effectively with teammates to handle busy rushes smoothly. Key Requirements: Skills : Strong communication, active listening, multitasking, and basic math skills. Attributes : Punctual, reliable, friendly, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced and often stressful environment.

Physical Ability : Standing for long periods, bending, reaching, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Availability : Applicants must have open availability between the hours of 8am - 6pm, Monday thru Friday. Experience : No prior experience required; we provide fully paid on-the-job training. All applicants must have a valid state-issued ID or Driver's License and be able to pass a government background check
