Field Technican (HVAC)

Position: Field Service Technician Location: Baton Rouge, LA Employment Type: Full-time, with potential for overtime and/or weekends Benefits: Competitive annual bonus program No-cost medical plan option available Robust technical training programs, both in-person and virtual, covering a wide range of equipment including diesel engines, gas engines, compressed air systems, electrical systems, controls, HVAC, microgrid & storage, and more Career growth opportunities with tuition reimbursement Safety-focused culture working with cutting-edge technology Responsibilities: Operate out of our Baton Rouge service center with daily local travel in a company vehicle Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors Troubleshoot equipment failures both in the shop and at customer locations, and execute necessary repairs Work independently or in collaboration with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at both shop and customer sites Opportunity for overtime, weekend work, and occasional travel as needed Requirements: High School diploma/GED 4-6 years of experience working on industrial HVAC equipment, chillers, or in a chemical plant environment, conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs Proficiency in calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, as well as reading and interpreting schematics Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements Capable of lifting or moving objects, typically weighing less than 50 lbs.
