Position Overview

We are seeking a caring and dependable Private Sitter/ Companion to join our growing care team. This role provides non-medical assistance and companionship to clients in their homes, helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and engaging living environment. As a Jai Care Solutions companion, you will not perform clinical or hands-on medical care—but your presence, attention, and kindness will make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

Provide friendly companionship, emotional support, and meaningful conversation. Engage clients in light social or recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Assist with daily living routines such as meal planning, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment.

Encourage healthy habits and ensure adequate nutrition. Provide transportation or escort services to appointments, errands, or community activities (as approved). Observe and report any significant changes in the client’s condition or home safety to the family or Jai Care Solutions supervisor. Follow infection-control practices and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Respond appropriately in case of a household emergency, following company protocol.

Qualifications

Compassionate, patient, and genuinely interested in improving others’ quality of life. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read, write, and follow both written and verbal instructions. Ability to maintain detailed notes and complete simple written reports. Dependable, professional appearance, and punctuality are essential.

Ability to safely assist clients with mobility or light lifting, if necessary.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age . Valid Georgia driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance. Current TB screening (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
