Procurement Officer

Summary The Logistics & Procurement Officer serves as a vital operational partner for GADNet-SL, driving the efficiency and timeliness of all programmatic initiatives. This role is central to managing the organization's supply chain, inventory control, and asset lifecycle, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support field activities and administrative functions.

By upholding strict adherence to internal policies and donor standards, the officer guarantees that procurement and logistical operations run smoothly, directly contributing to the successful delivery of the organization's mission.

Responsibilities

Facilitate end-to-end procurement activities in strict alignment with GADNet-SL's established policies and standard operating procedures. Coordinate vendor selection processes, including sourcing suppliers, gathering competitive quotations, and preparing necessary procurement documentation. Organize and maintain comprehensive procurement archives and official records to ensure audit readiness.

Manage comprehensive logistical planning for diverse events, including training sessions, workshops, conferences, and field-based operations. Coordinate travel itineraries and transportation logistics for staff members and program-related activities. Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and warehouse operations to prevent shortages or excesses.

Update and maintain the organizational asset register to ensure accurate tracking of all company property. Conduct asset verification audits and ensure all documentation regarding asset status is current and precise. Act as a primary liaison for communication and coordination with external suppliers. Track and monitor the timely delivery of goods and services to meet project deadlines.

Assist in tracking procurement and logistics expenditures, providing regular updates on budget utilization. Ensure all records related to procurement, logistics, suppliers, inventory, and assets are systematically organized and up-to-date. Uphold compliance with both organizational governance frameworks and specific donor requirements.

Deliver targeted logistical assistance to program teams as operational needs arise. Execute additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support broader organizational goals. Requirements
