• Naperville , IL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $112073.00 - $168109.00Salary, Job Summary The Director of Digital Solutions leads Etnyre Digital, the business-led digital transformation group. Reporting directly to the EVP of IT, Supply Chain & Strategy, this leader translates Etnyre’s business strategy into digital capabilities that improve operating performance, strengthen decision-making, and support profitable growth. The Director partners with leaders across Etnyre’s businesses and functions to identify meaningful opportunities for process improvement and apply data, business intelligence, automation, and artificial intelligence to solve business problems. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic direction, team development, and direct technical contribution. The Director establishes and executes the enterprise digital roadmap, leads a small team of technical professionals, and manages external delivery partners while personally contributing to solution design, development, and troubleshooting. The role requires the ability to understand how work happens across the business, challenge existing processes constructively, and turn those insights into practical solutions. The Director guides initiatives from initial business case through implementation and ongoing improvement, balancing expected value with cost, complexity, and available capacity. Working closely with IT, the Director ensures digital solutions meet enterprise technology and security standards and remain reliable and supportable as they scale. Business sponsors and process owners remain accountable for business priorities and outcomes, with the Director providing the technical leadership and change support needed to achieve them. Success is measured through sustained adoption and demonstrated improvements in productivity, process performance, customer experience, and financial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the digital roadmap. Partner with business leaders to prioritize opportunities by business value, feasibility, and team capacity. Establish clear business sponsors, process owners, and success measures.
• Improve business processes. Work with process owners across operations, supply chain, engineering, finance, sales, and service to simplify workflows and identify opportunities for digital solutions.
• Build and deliver solutions. Personally contribute to designing, prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting analytics, automation, integrations, and AI solutions. Lead delivery from requirements through testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Make data trustworthy and useful. Work with business data owners to establish consistent metrics, validate reporting accuracy, and deliver accessible analytics that improve decisions and support self service reporting.
• Lead the team and delivery partners. Develop the Etnyre Digital team, provide technical coaching, and manage external partners. Set clear expectations for quality, budgets, schedules, and knowledge transfer. Etnyre International, Ltd. | Director of Digital Solutions
• Partner with IT. Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, architecture, integration, and data standards. Incorporate responsible AI practices, documentation, and clear support ownership so solutions remain reliable as they scale.
• Drive adoption and demonstrate value. Help business owners lead process changes and employee training. Measure adoption and results against agreed baselines, including productivity, cycle time, profitability, and growth. Expand solutions that demonstrate value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Eight or more years delivering digital, data, automation, or technology solutions, including at least three years leading technical teams.
• Recent, demonstrable experience personally building and deploying solutions, with clear examples of technical contributions, adoption, and business results.
• Strong capability in SQL and analytics or automation development, with working knowledge of cloud data platforms, APIs, and applied AI. Experience with Power BI, Azure, Epicor Kinetic, or Workato preferred.
• Experience improving business processes in manufacturing or related industrial environments, including practical change management and collaboration with operational teams.
• Ability to develop business cases, make sound investment tradeoffs, and communicate clearly with executives and frontline employees.
