Business Development Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Director based in the United States. As the first senior commercial hire in the US, you will lead the expansion of a science-led nutrition business into one of its largest growth markets.

You will build the B2B commercial presence from the ground up, developing strategic relationships and converting opportunities into successful product launches. Working across food, beverages, supplements, and wellness, you will introduce clinically researched, patent-protected precision fibre ingredients to brands seeking innovative health solutions.

This hands-on individual contributor role offers significant autonomy, direct access to the founders, and the opportunity to shape the US market strategy. You will balance near-term revenue opportunities with complex, long-term partnerships while bringing valuable customer insights back to scientific and product teams.
