• Jbsa Lackland, TX, Salary Range: $64.00Hourly, Clinical Psychologist Needed at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center Wander Staffing is seeking one (1) Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (59 MDW), Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. LOCATION Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (59 MDW), 1100 Wilford Hall Loop, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX 78236 100% on-site Mixed inpatient and outpatient COMPENSATION Rate: $64/hr W2 position SCHEDULE Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, during normal MTF operating hours (between 07:00 and 17:00; hours vary) 1,912 hours per year CONTRACT DETAILS Long-term Note: The duration of the contract is between the government and Wander Staffing. As with any position, if life requires you to leave, please provide a 60-day notice. Credentialing review usually takes 20-30 days QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited college or university Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship Additional training is required for psychology specialties Valid, unrestricted license or certification to practice as a psychologist in any of the 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands Must meet credentialing requirements, including experience and licensure Must have prior experience working in a mid- to large-size hospital. Experience from other types of healthcare settings will not be accepted DUTIES Practice within your state licensing board’s guidelines, the APA Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and your MTF privileges Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources as appropriate Establish psychiatric diagnoses using the DSM Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups Help medical and surgical patients cope with illnesses or injuries Assist with patient rehabilitation HOW TO APPLY Email the items below to Cierra Cole at Cierra.Cole@Wander.
