Bartender

Position Overview

We are seeking a confident, charismatic, and skilled Bartender who understands that exceptional bartending is part craft, part performance, and part connection. More than preparing and serving drinks, this role is about creating memorable experiences, building relationships with guests, and setting the tone for an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

The ideal candidate combines strong mixology skills with elevated hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-energy, personalized service in a fast-paced speakeasy environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver elevated, high-energy bar service while maintaining precision, consistency, and efficiency. Prepare and present cocktails and other beverages according to established recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations. Engage guests with confidence, warmth, and personality while providing personalized recommendations and attentive service.

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar that reflects the concept's identity and standards. Manage bar inventory, product rotation, and par levels while minimizing waste and maintaining cost awareness. Monitor guest flow, anticipate guest needs, and create a welcoming, intimate, and memorable atmosphere.

Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience, particularly during peak periods. Follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Represent the speakeasy's brand and atmosphere through professionalism, presentation, and every guest interaction.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of bartending or mixology experience in a high-volume, craft cocktail, upscale hospitality, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, ingredients, and mixology techniques. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and create meaningful guest connections.

Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain composed under pressure. Strong attention to detail, organization, and consistency in beverage preparation and presentation. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and applicable local requirements.
