RYA Parts Logistics Clerk

The Parts & Logistics Clerk will aid the Purchasing Agent and Inventory Specialist in processing aircraft parts with airworthiness documentation and helping to stock the parts in the appropriate inventory location. This position helps to maintain proper accountability protocols in Purchasing and Inventory actions. Receives shipments of parts from all sources, notifying Purchasing and Inventory of their arrival. Checks shipments for damage in shipment, documenting any damage found. Responsible for tracking all parts in transit Confirms proper P/N and quantity of parts in shipment with Purchase Order. Locates appropriate Airworthiness Documents for parts (if required). Makes a copy of the Airworthiness Document and attaches it to a new Yellow Tag. Starts filling in Yellow Tag with P/N, S/
