• JUPITER, FL, Salary Range: $25.00 - $25.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Primary Duties and Responsibilities Program, operate, inspect, and maintain the residential irrigation system. Install and repair sprinkler systems, including sprinkler heads and underground piping. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation field controllers. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on irrigation pumps and control systems. Hand-water designated areas as needed to maintain landscape health. Supervise employees assigned to emergency irrigation repairs as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned by the HOA Grounds Maintenance Manager Qualifications: Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years of experience Working knowledge of basic electrical systems and hydraulics related to irrigation systems. Knowledge of irrigation pumps, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers. Ability to supervise employees assigned to emergency irrigation repairs. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level and overhead without assistance and assist other team members with lifting items weighing more than 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and perform job duties for extended periods with limited rest breaks. Must be able to reach, bend, climb, grasp, kneel, push, pull, and twist as required to perform job duties. Must be able to work outdoors in varying climatic conditions common to South Florida, including heat, humidity, and rain. Must adhere to established safety practices, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and protective footwear. Must be able to work extended hours and perform duties under stressful conditions when necessary.
