Lead Blood Bank Technician - Full Time

The Blood Bank Section Lead Technologist is responsible for the daily operations of the transfusion services section within the hospital laboratory. This position ensures safe, accurate, and timely blood testing and component preparation in compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies (e.g., AABB, CAP, CLIA, FDA).

The Lead Technologist provides technical expertise, supervises staff, oversees quality control, and collaborates with clinical teams to support optimal patient care. Promotes and adheres to the IRMC core values of ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) and G.R.E.A.T. (greet/respond/explain/ask/thank) customer standards.
