• The Courtesy position at Hugo's Lake of the Woods is designed to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient and accurate checkout processes. This role is vital in creating a positive shopping experience for customers by maintaining a welcoming environment and assisting with various checkout-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the checkout area and ensure a friendly and efficient service experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) systems to process customer transactions, including payments and returns, accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cash accuracy by handling transactions with precision and ensuring proper cash-handling procedures are followed.
• Assist customers with bagging their purchases and managing shopping carts to facilitate a smooth checkout process.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about store policies, products, and services.
• Keep the checkout areas clean, organized, and compliant with store policies to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive and efficient working environment.
• Exhibit reliability and the ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced retail setting.
