Occupational Therapist

2 Months Contract with a local authority Umbrella Rate: £28.65 per hour umbrella Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Locum Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will deliver short-term, community-based occupational therapy interventions to support customers in maximizing their independence and achieving their personal goals in their own homes.

Responsibilities

Undertake comprehensive assessments and establish meaningful goals with customers in their own homes. Deliver specialist occupational therapy interventions for a short-term period. Monitor customer progress and adapt support plans to achieve the best possible outcomes. Collaborate closely with reablement care providers and other health and social care professionals in a multidisciplinary approach.

Manage a varied caseload while working flexibly across the community. Experience Experience applying evidence-based occupational therapy practice, ideally within a community, social care, or reablement setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work effectively in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and care providers.

Qualifications

Qualified Occupational Therapist (Social Care Qualified). Additional Information Working hours: 37 hours per week Enhanced DBS required Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across West Sussex for visits This is an Hybrid role for at least one day in the office per week at Littlehampton We work on biweekly payment schedule.
