Position Overview

A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy services is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Salem, Oregon. This is a 0.8 FTE position, approximately 30–32 hours per week, providing evaluations and IEP-directed therapy services to help students develop functional, academic, and independent living skills.

Location: Salem, OR Job Type: Part-Time (0.8 FTE) Work Setting: School-based Schedule: Approximately 30–32 hours per week Compensation: $45–$65 per hour, commensurate with experience Sign-On Bonus: Available Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy evaluations and IEP-directed services in a school setting Conduct comprehensive evaluations for initial eligibility and re-evaluations Develop and implement occupational therapy goals and services aligned with student needs and IEPs Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and evaluations Participate as a direct member of IEP teams and attend IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and educational team members Help students develop functional, academic, and school-related skills Qualifications Current Oregon Occupational Therapist (OT) license Experience working as an OT in a school-based setting Experience serving as a direct member of IEP teams Experience conducting occupational therapy assessments and evaluations Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Commitment to supporting students and collaborating with school teams Compensation & Benefits $45–$65 per hour, commensurate with experience Sign-on bonus available Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Strong clinical support and collaboration Opportunity to work as an integral member of school-based teams Meaningful work supporting students' academic, functional, and developmental progress About the Employer A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy and educational services offers Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Special Education, and mental health and behavioral services.
