Universa. Care is hiring a homemaker and companion to provide care to clients in their own homes in New Haven and nearby towns, Connecticut. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office. Pay: $16.94 to $25 per hour. Schedule: Part-time and full-time. What you’ll do Provide companionship, conversation and activities Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry Run errands and go with clients to appointments Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine What you need A caring attitude and reliability; caregiving experience is a plus Eligibility to work in the United States Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role Benefits Weekly pay An easy-to-use app to clock in and out 401(k) retirement plan Referral bonus: earn $250 for each caregiver you refer once they complete their first 100 hours Tuition assistance after 2,500 hours worked with Universa.
