Senior Resident – Plastic Surgery

A reputed Medical College in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh is seeking a qualified Senior Resident – Plastic Surgery to join its clinical and academic team. The selected candidate will provide patient care, assist with surgical procedures, and participate in teaching and departmental activities.

Qualifications

MBBS with MS/DNB in Plastic Surgery or equivalent qualification as per applicable medical regulations Valid National/State Medical Council registration Relevant clinical experience in Plastic Surgery is preferred Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements applicable to Senior Resident positions Responsibilities Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with plastic and reconstructive surgery conditions.

Conduct patient assessments and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans. Assist consultants in plastic, reconstructive, and related surgical procedures. Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Participate in emergency surgical care when required. Conduct ward rounds and monitor patients' clinical progress.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Participate in academic activities, case discussions, seminars, and teaching programs. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care. Follow hospital policies, infection control practices, patient safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
