Mechanical Assembler – Overhead Cranes & Hoists Location: Ashland, VA Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Starting Pay: $24.00/hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience. Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to build and install components for overhead cranes and hoists.

This role involves mechanical assembly, equipment operation, and working at elevated heights in a heavy industrial environment. Important: Candidates must be comfortable climbing cranes and working approximately 15 feet above ground on OSHA-compliant equipment with appropriate safety features, including handrails and gates.
