Magento Architect Summary We are seeking a highly seasoned Magento Architect to lead the strategic design and implementation of enterprise-level eCommerce solutions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of Adobe Commerce platforms, ensuring they meet complex business requirements while delivering exceptional performance and scalability.

This position is critical for driving digital transformation initiatives, optimizing system architecture, and guiding technical teams in building robust, future-proof online retail environments that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the technical roadmap for enterprise eCommerce platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Adobe Commerce and Magento 2, addressing complex integration and customization needs. Lead the development team in adopting Agile methodologies to accelerate delivery cycles while maintaining code quality and system stability.

Conduct thorough analysis and implementation of web performance optimization strategies to enhance user experience and site speed. Ensure seamless cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all digital touchpoints. Drive the adoption of Adobe Commerce certifications and standards within the organization to maintain technical excellence.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.

Requirements

Possess a minimum of 12 years of overall professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years dedicated to architect-level roles. Hold a valid Adobe Commerce or Magento Certification demonstrating deep expertise in the platform ecosystem. Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience in developing enterprise eCommerce platforms using Adobe Commerce and Magento 2. Show proven proficiency in Agile development practices and leading cross-functional teams. Exhibit strong capabilities in web performance optimization techniques to ensure high-speed, reliable applications. Have a track record of ensuring cross-browser compatibility and resolving complex technical challenges. Display a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-grade eCommerce architecture and scalability requirements.
