Automotive Technician – GM / Chevrolet Coad Chevrolet | Cape Girardeau, MO Pay: $35–$45 per flagged hour (flat rate), based on experience and certifications. Pay is based on repair hours credited, not hours spent at the shop. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. No weekends. We’re hiring an experienced automotive technician.

Our longtime master tech is retiring at the end of the year. We’re looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team. If you can find and fix tough problems, we want to hear from you. GM or Chevrolet experience is a plus.

Complete repairs, oil changes, and routine maintenance. Inspect vehicles and note needed repairs. Use shop tools and diagnostic equipment. Keep clear notes on your work.

Work with our service advisors and other technicians. What You’ll Need Experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong repair and diagnostic skills. Pride in doing the job right. The ability to work well with a team. ASE certification and GM training are a plus. Experienced technicians without GM training are welcome to apply.
