Home Health Aide (HHA) - Westbury, Nassau County, NY

Universa. Care is hiring a home health aide to provide care to clients in their own homes in Nassau County. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office. Hiring, onboarding and support are handled by our Universa. Care of Nassau office at 285 Post Avenue, 2nd Floor, Westbury, NY 11590.

Pay: $19.65 to $25 per hour. The starting rate is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it. Schedule: Part-time and full-time. What you’ll do Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely around the home Prepare meals and help clients eat Keep the home clean and safe, including light housekeeping and laundry Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your nurse supervisor What you need A current New York State Home Health Aide certificate Eligibility to work in the United States Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role Benefits Weekly pay An easy-to-use app to clock in and out 401(k) retirement plan Referral bonus: earn $250 for each caregiver you refer once they complete their first 100 hours Tuition assistance after 2,500 hours worked with Universa.
