Licensed Practical Nurse

Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care and clinical support to physicians, nurse practitioners, and other licensed healthcare professionals in the Rural Health Clinic (RHC). The LPN performs patient assessments within scope, administers medications and treatments, assists with care coordination, maintains accurate documentation, supports quality initiatives, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current unrestricted Louisiana LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with e. Clinical. Works (eCW) or another electronic health record preferred.
