The Mole Resort is seeking an ambitious and experienced Operations Manager to join our Executive Team and help shape the future of one of Devon's leading countryside resorts.

About The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the resort, providing leadership and strategic direction across several key departments including: Housekeeping Food & Beverage Kitchen Operations Front Office Guest Services Working closely with departmental leaders, you will ensure the highest standards of service delivery while driving profitability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout the resort.

What You'll Be Doing Leading and inspiring a multi-department management team Driving exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards across all areas of the resort Managing departmental performance, budgets, payroll and profitability Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve operational efficiencies Supporting the achievement of business objectives and strategic initiatives Developing and coaching future leaders within the business Championing Iconic service standards and creating memorable guest experiences Monitoring guest feedback and implementing continuous improvements Ensuring compliance with all health & safety, food safety and employment legislation About You We're looking for a confident and commercially focused hospitality professional who can bring energy, leadership and innovation to our resort.

You'll ideally have: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior hospitality operations role Proven experience managing multiple departments within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills Experience driving service excellence and improving business performance Exceptional leadership and people development abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A positive, resilient and hands-on leadership style A passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
