About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join a digital technology delivery team. The role will be responsible for planning and executing testing activities, managing defects and ensuring solutions are properly validated before release and after deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression and end-to-end testing. Develop test scenarios, test cases and test scripts based on approved requirements. Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases. Test complete business and customer journeys, including system integrations.
Identify, document, prioritise and track defects through to resolution. Participate in test and defect triage sessions and provide updates on progress, risks and blockers. Work closely with developers, project teams, vendors and business users to resolve testing issues. Support UAT preparation, execution, evidence gathering and sign-off.
Conduct regression testing following fixes and system changes. Validate deployed fixes and support production testing and post-Go-Live stabilisation. Confirm readiness of test environments, test data and user access before testing begins. Support release readiness, Go-Live and hypercare activities. Maintain QA documentation, test evidence, defect logs and status reports.
Requirements
Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/testing. Hands-on experience in SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing. Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Strong skills in test case development, defect management and QA reporting. Experience testing integrations, APIs and end-to-end digital transaction flows will be an added advantage. Experience in banking, financial services or fintech environments will be an added advantage. Key Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Analytical and problem-solving ability. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage deadlines and follow through on outstanding issues. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and business teams.
