Field Guide – Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide to join a luxury safari lodge in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in wildlife, excellent guest relations skills and the ability to deliver memorable safari experiences.

Key responsibilities

Conduct engaging and informative game drives for guests. Share knowledge of local wildlife, flora, fauna and conservation. Ensure guest safety and adhere to all guiding protocols. Maintain the safari vehicle and guiding equipment to a high standard. Provide exceptional guest service and assist with general lodge duties when required.

Work closely with the lodge team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

Relevant Field Guide qualifications. Previous guiding experience in a safari lodge environment would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of wildlife and the local ecosystem. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A professional, enthusiastic and guest-focused approach. A valid driver's licence and the ability to work flexible hours.

Salary: R7,000 – R8,500 per month, depending on experience. Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV for consideration.
