CSR/ Sales Assistant -Produce Industry

About the role

EXP Group is looking for a Sales Assistant to support our sales team with day-to-day account coordination, order processing, and customer follow-up. We're especially interested in candidates who have worked in the produce or fresh food industry, since pricing, availability, and customer needs change daily in this business.

What you'll do

Support sales reps and account managers with daily account coordination Process and confirm customer orders; provide accurate pricing and availability information Prepare quotes and follow up with buyers on open opportunities Coordinate with logistics/shipping on order status, lead times, and delivery issues Track open orders, backorders, and shipment schedules, and keep customers updated Maintain accurate customer and pricing records in our order/CRM system Support new customer account onboarding Respond to customer inquiries about products, orders, and account status Qualifications Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or order management required Experience in the produce or fresh food distribution industry strongly preferred Fluent English required, both written and spoken; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Able to work Central Time business hours Experience with Famous Software a plus Comfortable with CRM, order-entry, or ERP systems Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple accounts and orders at once About EXP Group We are a multinational group of specialized companies working together to bring high-quality tropical fruits and vegetables from Central and South America to the U.
