Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Farmington Hills, MI | Full-Time The Big Task Thornton & Grooms is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our Controller and help ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This position will reconcile general ledger accounts, assist with month-end closing, manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, and provide backup support for payroll.

What You’ll Do Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close Process customer payments and deposits Participate in accounts receivable collections Process vendor invoices and payments Reconcile vendor statements Assist with financial statement preparation Research and explain budget variances Assist with job-cost analysis Support the Controller and other departments as needed What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or comparable experience Three to five years of accounting experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive company information with discretion and integrity Experience with Service.
