Assistant Branch Manager

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Job description: Job Summary: The Assistant Service Manager supports branch operations and customer service, with a focus on service writing, parts coordination, and clear communication among customers, technicians, and branch leadership. This role is suited to someone who can organize work, track service needs, and help ensure customers receive timely, accurate updates.

Service writer or parts experience is valuable, along with a willingness to learn fleet maintenance processes and develop leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily service workflow, schedules, and work orders. Gather customer concerns and service details, and communicate them clearly to technicians. Provide customers with updates on service progress, timelines, and parts needs. Assist with identifying, sourcing, tracking, and organizing parts for service work. Help maintain accurate service and parts records using branch systems.

Support efficient operations and consistent service quality. Build positive customer relationships through responsive, professional communication. Assist branch leadership with planning, organization, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail. Service writer, parts, automotive, fleet, or transportation experience is preferred. Experience coordinating schedules, work orders, inventory, or customer relationships is beneficial.

Dependable, adaptable, and motivated to learn new systems and processes. Previous leadership, operations, or management experience is a plus. College experience or a bachelor's degree is preferred.
