Adult Education and Literacy Instructor (Part-time Day / Evening)

Job Title: Adult Education & Literacy Instructor (part-time, days and/or evenings) Terms of Employment: 8-20 hours per week, 10 months per year. This position is dependent upon available grant funding. FLSA Status: Exempt Reports to: AEL Coordinator Brief Description of Position: The Adult Education & Literacy Instructor facilitates meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively supports all facets of the learning environment.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher AEL certification or ability to complete certification within three (3) months of hire Experience working with diverse population with varying beliefs Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to manage a multi-level adult classroom Effective oral and written communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Drive Attachment(s): AEL Instructor.
