Patient Care Coordinator University Ave Dental | Blaine, MN Full-time | $20-$26 per hour, based on experience University Ave Dental is looking for a friendly, organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our front-office team! As one of the first people our patients connect with, you’ll help them feel welcome, keep their visits running smoothly, and make scheduling and payment conversations easy to understand.

Dental experience is welcome but not required . If you bring strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you. What you’ll do Answer phones, assist patients, and schedule appointments. Help maintain productive schedules and fill appointment openings. Welcome patients and coordinate check-in and checkout.

Collect payments and explain treatment estimates and patient balances. Help patients understand insurance benefits and available payment options. Support insurance verification, claims, and follow-up alongside the office manager. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with the clinical team. This role focuses primarily on phones, scheduling, and collecting payments , with responsibilities shared across the front-office team.

The office manager handles much of the ongoing insurance and billing work behind the scenes. What we’re looking for A warm, professional approach to patient service. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through. Comfort using computers and learning new software. The ability to manage several priorities while paying attention to details.

A dependable team member who enjoys helping others. Previous dental or medical billing, scheduling, or front-office experience is helpful. Open Dental experience is a plus. Schedule This is a full-time position. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m., and Friday, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Friday availability is preferred, but we can discuss a full-time schedule with fewer hours.

Friday coverage is required. Pay and benefits $20-$26 per hour , based on experience. Medical insurance, with the company paying 50% of the employee premium after 90 days. Dental benefits. 401(k) with a 3% employer contribution. Paid holidays. 80 hours of starting PTO/ESST. Continuing education and required training provided.
