Job description
We are looking for an experienced MES Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications in an industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in MES, DCS, industrial automation systems, and manufacturing operations, with mandatory exposure to the Mining or Cement industry.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications. Integrate MES solutions with DCS, SCADA, PLC, and other plant automation systems. Monitor production processes and manufacturing workflows to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related technical and operational issues.
Collaborate with plant operations, engineering, automation, and IT teams to ensure seamless system performance. Support system commissioning, testing, upgrades, enhancements, and implementation activities. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and system records. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of production and process data.
Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Support manufacturing digitalization and smart factory initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in MES, DCS, industrial automation, or manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with MES applications and/or DCS platforms. Mandatory experience in the Mining or Cement industry. Strong understanding of MES-DCS integration and industrial automation systems. Knowledge of production monitoring, process control, and manufacturing workflows. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
