• Sales (Industrial Solutions) Location: Chennai/Bangalore/ Hyderabad Work Arrangement: Onsite/Hybrid About the Role Performs operational activities based on general guidelines and aimed at achieving short-term objectives. Employee has theoretical knowledge of the job area or extensive experience within the job area. Activities require own interpretation and analysis and can be slightly divergent from usual way of working.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for selling specialty chemicals/additives to industry Polymers and lubricants (Additives ) but not limited to. The candidate will be responsible for growth of sales and profitability of existing sales & new customer developments and will be responsible for South Region. Candidate will also be responsible for mining out market information, through regular customer interactions, educating customers about specific product lines and closing business and maintaining such accounts.

Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. Develop information by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features. Maintain proficiency in updating, tracking and submitting reports to Sales Manager. Adept at maintaining and updating customer data and feedback on a real time basis in Microsoft Dynamics software and has the ability to discuss commercial matters if need be.

Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team. Should be willing to travel to meet customer for new projects, building relationship, understand needs and solve queries. Travel will be limited and need based. Skills Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in relevant software tools and methodologies.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Job Requirements Candidate with Ba chelor’s Degree / Diploma in Chemical or Polymer as academic qualification. Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience Ability to understand new products / applications relevant to these industries and able to effectively communicate about the same so as to handle commercial business and sales.
