Credit Processing Analyst

As a Credit Processing Analyst, you will play a vital role in our company's back-office operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth and efficient credit processing, maintaining high standards of customer service. This role is crucial for our business, as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and retention.

Process and analyze credit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Review and assess creditworthiness of customers, making informed decisions on credit limits and terms. Maintain and update customer credit records, keeping track of payment histories and credit scores. Collaborate with the customer care team to resolve credit-related inquiries and issues promptly.

Implement and monitor credit policies and procedures, suggesting improvements when necessary. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in credit processing and customer care. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering a positive and professional image. Provide regular reports and insights on credit processing activities to the management team.

Assist in training and mentoring new team members on credit processing procedures. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in credit processing or a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

Proficiency in using credit processing software and MS Office applications. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of credit scoring models and risk assessment techniques. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the BFSI industry. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
