OB/GYN Physician

Newman Regional Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join Newman Regional Health Medical Partners in Emporia, Kansas. This is an opportunity to join a community-focused practice with the resources of an integrated regional health system while making a meaningful impact on women's health and maternity care throughout east-central Kansas.

The OB/GYN clinic is conveniently located in the same building as the hospital and works closely with the Women's Life Center, providing an integrated environment for clinic, surgical, and obstetric care. The incoming physician will join a three-physician OB/GYN model designed to strengthen long-term access to obstetric and gynecologic care, support a balanced call schedule, and provide an additional physician voice in the continued development of procedures, surgical techniques, and patient care.

Practice Highlights: Four clinic days per week with one administrative day Clinic hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Dedicated surgical block time Approximately 22 to 30 patients per day Approximately 365 deliveries annually Three dedicated exam rooms Private physician office and procedure room Dedicated reception area Bedside ultrasound Two dedicated sonographers Meditech Expanse electronic medical record In-office LEEP procedures Robotic hysterectomy and VNOTES surgical capabilities Call Schedule The position completes a three-physician OB/GYN team with shared weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Physicians work collaboratively to develop the call schedule and coordinate coverage for vacation, continuing medical education, family commitments, and other planned absences. Call is generally taken from home when an on-site physician presence is not clinically required. Locum tenens coverage may also be incorporated when appropriate to help maintain patient access and provide additional scheduling flexibility.
