General Surgeon

Newman Regional Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our team in Emporia, Kansas. This opportunity offers the ability to provide comprehensive surgical care in a community-focused setting with the support and resources of an integrated regional health system. GI and endoscopy experience is welcomed but not required.

We are looking for a general surgeon who values collaboration, community-based medicine, and the opportunity to help strengthen surgical services for patients throughout east-central Kansas. The General Surgeon will provide a broad range of surgical services while working closely with Newman Regional Health Medical Partners and Surgical Services.

The position is supported by anesthesia, perioperative nursing, sterile processing, imaging, laboratory, inpatient services, wound care, and established primary care referral relationships. The incoming surgeon will have the opportunity to help expand local surgical access, retain more care within the community, and contribute to the continued growth of surgical services and regional outreach.
