PT Accounting Intern (Great opportunity for an Accounting or Finance Major!)

Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Remote New Jersey

• Fairfield, NJ, Salary Range: $23.00 - $23.00Hourly, We are seeking a part time accounting intern to assist in our Cash Applications department. This is a work from home position, 25 -30 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to gain experience while earning your degree! Ideal hours are morning hours, Monday
• Friday.

Responsibilities include

Supporting the Accounts Receivable team in: Recording customer payments accurately and promptly. Matching payments to outstanding invoices. Researching and collaborating with internal colleagues on payment discrepancies, short payments, overpayments, deductions and missing remittance details. Entering of payments in our accounting system.

Education, Experience and Skills Need: Ideal position for an Accounting or Finance major Highly motivated with a desire to learn Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
