Require a Hydrologist in Lusaka , Zambia

· Fieldwork: Collect water and soil samples, measure streamflow, and monitor groundwater levels.

• Data Analysis: Evaluate precipitation, runoff, and infiltration data using specialized software.
• Modeling: Build computer models to simulate water systems, forecast floods or droughts, and predict water availability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with civil engineers and environmental scientists to design water structures or mitigation plans.
• Reporting: Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in hydrology, hydrogeology, or a related STEM field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in hydrological fieldwork, analysis, and modeling.
• Skills: Proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and hydrologic modeling software, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Certification: Professional Engineering membership with ERB with clean Practicing Certificate
