Job Overview: Under the supervision of a Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager, the Food Service Worker performs a wide variety of routine tasks, such as itemize#total food/beverage orders and ring orders into the cash register. # Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent# Basic math skills Ability to run a cash register efficiently and handle cash properly Preferred: Prior cashier experience Scheduling Requirements # Shift: Day Time: 7:00am#3:00pm Status: Per Diem (Flexible, scheduled to work based on the needs of the department # Essential Functions: Itemize total food/beverage orders and ring orders into the cash register Collects payment from customers and makes change, maintains the accuracy of the cash drawer.
