Stack!Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $22 - $22 / hour*What you'll be doing as a Construction Hoist Operator:Operate a temporary construction elevator (hoist) to transport workers, tools, equipment, and building materials between floors.

Inspect the hoist before each shift to ensure it is operating safely. Maintain communication with workers on different floors via radio or hand signals. Monitor load limits and ensure materials are properly secured before transport. Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety procedures. Keep the hoist area clean and organized.

Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and coordinate with multiple trades throughout the day. Available shifts:Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day). Job requirements:Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People. Ready.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and stand for long periods. Reliable transportation and strong attendance1–3 years of construction experience preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, or other construction machinery is a plus.

Experience on commercial or high-rise construction sites is highly desirableOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety. Construction hoist/elevator operator certification (if required by the project or local jurisdiction). First Aid/CPR (preferred). Valid driver's license. Strong understanding of construction site safety.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Good communication with crews using radios or hand signals. Ability to monitor load capacities and transport personnel safely. Attention to detail and ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks. Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report equipment issues. Comfortable working at heights.

Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed. Able to work extended hours, overtime, and weekends when required. Background check and Drug test required.
