Industrial Maintenance Manager

Overview

The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance team in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure safety and food-safety by following all company, OSHA, and government rules and procedures including; Lock-out / Tag-out procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), personal safety, and food safety/SQF Program standards; Develops and implements a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities; Leads and manages a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations; Provides guidance and support to ensure a high level of skill and productivity among team members; Coordinates and prioritizes preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime; Identifies areas for process improvement within the maintenance department and implements best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime; Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment histories, work orders, and maintenance schedules; Develops and implements emergency maintenance plans to respond to unexpected equipment failures and minimize production disruptions; Provides regular reports and updates to senior management on maintenance KPIs, department performance, and cost analysis; Perform other required tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (preferred); Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment; Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems; Excellent leadership and team management skills; Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS); Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; Effective communication and interpersonal skills; Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
