Full Stack QA (Functional + API + Playwright + RestAssured+JAVA)

Location: Pune / Mumbai Work Mode: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 10+ years Shift: Afternoon Shift Budget: Up to ₹22 LPA Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Serving Notice Period Interview Process: Video Interview – 3 Technical Rounds Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Full Stack QA professional with strong expertise in Functional Testing, API Testing, UI Automation, Playwright, BDD, Rest Assured, and Java.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building and managing automation frameworks, ETL and data validation testing, performance testing, and end-to-end QA processes. Experience in the Asset Management domain is required.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement test strategies for Automation, Regression, Smoke, and Functional Testing. Design and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and test cases. Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright and BDD. Develop API automation using Rest Assured and Java. Perform API testing using Postman and SoapUI.

Perform ETL testing and data validation. Conduct performance testing for applications, microservices, and APIs. Lead end-to-end testing activities including estimation, planning, execution, defect management, reporting, UAT support, and test closure. Identify and communicate project risks during test planning and execution.

Coordinate test data and test environment availability. Define and monitor QA metrics and drive continuous improvements. Lead and coordinate QA teams and effectively manage testing activities. Collaborate with project, development, testing, and support teams across locations. Support weekend activities when required by project needs.

Mandatory Skills 10+ years of QA / Testing experience Strong Functional and Automation Testing experience. Hands-on Playwright experience. Hands-on BDD framework experience. Practical hands-on experience in Java. Strong experience with Rest Assured API automation. API testing using Postman and SoapUI. Experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation.

Experience in Performance Testing. Experience testing web applications, microservices, and APIs. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology. Experience defining Automation, Regression, and Smoke Test strategies. Asset Management domain experience is mandatory. Strong test planning, test strategy, defect management, and QA leadership skills.

Preferred Profile Experience building automation frameworks from scratch. Strong understanding of the complete test automation lifecycle. Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities. Willingness to work in an afternoon shift and provide weekend support when required.
