At Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne, we're looking for a welcoming and guest-focused hospitality professional to join our Front Office team as a Casual Front Office Receptionist.

About the Role

You'll create the first impression and lasting memories that shape every guest stay. Through genuine hospitality, thoughtful service and attention to detail, you'll help every guest feel welcomed, valued and cared for from arrival to departure. Working as part of the Front Office team, you'll build meaningful guest connections while ensuring every interaction reflects the exceptional experiences our hotels are known for.

No two days are the same. From check-ins and guest enquiries to local recommendations and problem solving, you'll play an important role in creating memorable experiences for every guest. What You'll Be Doing Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality. Complete guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.

Manage incoming calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate department. Coordinate reservations, room allocations and Front Office administration. Assist guests with arrivals, departures and concierge-style requests. Provide local recommendations and hotel information to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming Front Office environment.

About You

You love working with people and genuinely enjoy helping others. You're calm under pressure, bring positive energy to every shift and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. Skills & Experience Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or a Front Office environment preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional presentation and a guest-focused approach. Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards. Experience with a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) is advantageous.

Availability to work a flexible casual roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Tourism or Business is advantageous. Experience using a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) is preferred. Previous customer service or hospitality training is advantageous. Current RSA certification where required. Why TFE Hotels?
