Now Hiring: Clinical Staff Pharmacist (Full-Time) – Little Rock, Arkansas Red River Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a full-time opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while working in a collaborative and fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Position Summary
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately. Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, interactions, allergies, and therapeutic effectiveness. Provide clinical recommendations and medication counseling to healthcare providers and patients. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy staff.
Ensure compliance with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation. Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives. Assist with inventory management and medication procurement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
Participate in on-call rotation as assigned.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Current, active Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing. Clinical pharmacy experience preferred. Long Term Care, Infusion, or Hospital pharmacy experience is a plus. Strong clinical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail.
